EV Chargers Ltd

Trail blazing businesses like EVC, have emerged from a recent shift towards sustainability in the automotive industry. As big corporations continue to go green, EVC are on track to provide the largest roll out of free EV charging points ever offered.

Borne from the convergence of two major industries, sustainable energy and car park management, EVC is one of the fastest growing networks in the EV charging industry. Founded in 2020 and backed by renewable energy investment group Oasthouse Ventures (experts in renewable energy and decarbonisation projects), EVC’s mission is to enable strategic EV charging access across all sectors at no cost.

Offering sustainable installation and management solutions, EVC are the first fully-funded provider of EV chargers to the residential, commercial and workplace sectors. By focusing on providing sustainable mobility by implementing smart and scalable charging infrastructure, EVC aims to create a positive impact at a global level.

Building Better

EVC’s growth has corresponded with an exponential rise in EV ownership, during a period which has seen oil companies like Shell planning to open over 100,000 charging points on forecourts by 2030 and BP buy the Pulse network. Such steps mark a clear shift in consumer behaviour, with big corporations eager to support their customer bases as they make the move from fuel to electric.

With the UK automotive industry calling for a new regulator to be established to oversee the EV charging roll out, it is hoped that long-held concerns about the lack of EV charging points, motorists will finally be addressed, encouraging even more consumers to switch to a greener mode of transport.

Companies like EVC sit at the centre of this drive for sustainable mobility and we at BDB Pitmans are proud to support them.
