Successful removal of a Turkish conviction
Feedback for Anthony Hanratty
I am writing following the successful outcome of my case against the Association of Chief Police Officers Criminal Records Office (ACRO), delivered by Mr Anthony Hanratty.
Mr Hanratty has represented me since my arrest for extradition in March 2015 and delivered a service to myself which I believe has gone above and beyond what I would expect of the Duty Solicitor at Westminster Magistrates at the time of my arrest. I can only be thankful that Mr Hanratty was on duty that day.
Throughout the following 3 years of an incredibly stressful process involving not just the extradition, but a life changing cancer diagnosis and now the UK government’s attempts to punish me for a trial that I was not even informed of, Mr Hanratty has been a source of strength not just to myself, but to my wife and widowed mother, as well as demonstrating an incredible array of knowledge of Public Law and Extradition procedures, whilst providing timely, accurate and achievable strategic advice. He has demonstrated a broad range of contacts, all of which were employed with regard to my financial position and the importance of their input, as well as a cool, calm and knowledgeable approach to oral litigation which made an obvious impression not just on the District Judge assigned to my case but visibly scared his opposing counsel. All this coupled with a fierce determination to achieve a successful outcome for myself.
I am in literally no doubt that I would not be getting my life back today if it wasn’t for Mr Hanratty’s advice, skill and work ethic, and whilst I understand he is a recent employee in your firm and department, I can only recommend him in the highest possible terms and commend you on your choice in hiring him. I will be continuing to use Mr Hanratty and your firm to investigate any possible Red Notice or further action that is required in my case.
