Sustainable Future

We work with clients across government, regulators and the private sector to provide expert advice on the legal impacts on changing the landscape of sustainability

Sectors and Services

Strategically important sectors as transport, housing or energy or even landed estate owners are increasingly applying non-financial factors as part of their analysis process to identify material risks and growth opportunities as investors, regulators and customers create pressure for a sustainable future.

With decarbonising the economy and the energy transition having a long term horizon we can support you on your journey with our specialist teams.

BDB Pitmans are the leaders in Clean Air Zones and Environment Planning through Development Consent Orders.

SPECIALIST EXPERTISE

SHADES OF GREEN EDITION

SHADES OF GREEN is about everyone playing their part in tackling the climate emergency – whether that’s the ‘dark green’ approach of minimising CO2 emissions through carbon capture, or the ‘light green’ solution of opting for hydrogen over gas boilers to heat our homes.

At BDB Pitmans we have recently completed a carbon audit and are working with environmental consultants Green Element to reduce the firm’s overall carbon footprint. They lift the lid on carbon offsetting on page 13 and provide some practical tips for businesses to reduce their emissions on page 16.

We are also delighted to profile the Eden Project and its global expansion plans
