Our practice encompasses a wide variety of private company M&A work, including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, solvent corporate restructuring and joint ventures.
We also have broad experience of public takeovers and the Takeover Code. We have acted both for the bidder and the target on a significant number of takeovers, both recommended and hostile. We advise on both traditional contractual offers and schemes of arrangement.
We have strong sector knowledge across a variety of areas, including healthcare, retail and leisure and technology.
We work across our core practice groups, including real estate, commercial, employment, corporate tax and IP, as well as cross-border through our LexWork International network, in order to offer a seamless transaction process – from initial structuring, due diligence, the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation to transitional arrangements and practical integration.
We have a dynamic, partner-led, team that focusses on understanding our client’s business needs in order to satisfy commercial objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
