Notary Public Services
Are you engaged in business ventures or commercial activities beyond UK borders?
Are you pursuing applications relating to employment opportunities, financial services such as banking, or legal proceedings outside UK borders?
The foreign agencies you interact with may ask you to have a notary public certify your identity and/ or documents. This will prove to the foreign agency that you are the person making the application and that the documents are authentic so everything can progress legitimately and smoothly.
Our dedicated notary public and experienced corporate lawyers can validate your documents to the foreign agency, arrange legalisation / apostille if necessary, and then send documents internationally to the agency you are working with.
Furthermore, our team’s expertise within corporate law also allows us to advise on business dealings. For example, if you are acting on behalf of your company then we are able to create a board resolution and other supporting documents eliminating any questions that may arise challenging validity of actions.
Our services
We can advise on:
- We will review the document(s) which require notarisation and advise on any necessary changes as well as the cost and timescale. We aim to respond within one day.
- We are able to witness signatures, verify original documents and carry out any other steps required. We endeavour to arrange an appointment within one or two days (excepting holidays or special circumstances), accommodating any requirements.
- Ahead of your appointment we will require documents to verify your identity. This process usually takes around 24 hours.
- We will keep records of the documents we have notarised and send electronic copies to you, as well as providing the originals.
- If required, we will obtain an apostille from the legalisation office operated by the UK FCDO and return the document to you. This will normally take five working days, assuming the document is returned to a UK address. If the recipient country is not party to the Hague Apostille Convention, then consular legalisation may be required as an additional step. Requirements, cost, and timescales vary by country – we are able to advise on request.
Note that the above is a very brief and general guide and each transaction may follow a different format. We would be happy to look at your requirements and advise in more detail.
