COVID-19 – temporary relief measures for AIM companies on publishing half-yearly reports

Daniela Munro Associate
The London Stock Exchange has announced temporary relief measures for AIM companies on publishing half-yearly reports. This follows temporary relief granted by the FCA for listed companies published in May 2020.
From 9 June 2020, AIM companies are able to take an additional month to publish half-yearly reports, an increase from the usual three months to four from the end of the period to which the report relates.
In order for AIM companies to utilise the one month extension they must:
- prior to the AIM company’s reporting deadline under AIM Rule 18, publish a notification (via an RIS) of its intention to utilise the extension; and
- separately inform AIM Regulation via the nominated adviser.
