BDB Pitmans acts for Frenkel Topping Group PLC on £10 million acquisition

BDB Pitmans has acted for Frenkel Topping Group PLC (Frenkel Topping) on its acquisition of Cardinal Management Limited (Cardinal) for total potential consideration of £10 million.

Frenkel Topping is a specialist independent financial adviser and asset manager with a market-leading position focused on asset protection for clients at times of financial vulnerability, with particular expertise in the field of personal injury and clinical negligence. Frenkel Topping is listed on AIM with a market cap of c£89 million. Cardinal works closely with a number of key NHS Major Trauma Centres to provide a Major Trauma Signposting Partnership support service.

The BDB Pitmans team acting on this transaction was led by corporate partner Tessa Trevelyan Thomas and senior associate Daniel King, assisted by corporate solicitor Zoe Symes.

Tax, employment and commercial support was provided by tax partner Alex Barnes, employment partner Nicholas Le Riche and associate Zoe Merrikin, and corporate and commercial partner Hollie Gallagher and associate Alexia Elassadi.
