BDB Pitmans has advised leading sustainable facilities management company, Not Just Cleaning (NJC), on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of the Expectations Property Group for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 1984, family-owned NJC delivers sustainable, high quality, cleaning and business support services to commercial customers. Based in London, they provide specialist estate cleaning to clients including blue-chip companies and property management organisations.

Expectations Property Services provide facilities management solutions including electrical services, hard floor restoration, window cleaning, grounds maintenance and more to companies across the technology, media and pharmaceutical industries.

BDB Pitmans’ team was led by corporate partner Stephanie Perry with support from legal director Ollie Flowers. The M&A corporate transaction marks the latest of several successful deals closed by the firm.

Paul Crilly, Director of NJC commented:

We are pleased to confirm that we have completed the acquisition of the Expectations Property Group. Based in the North West, the business specialises in the residential and mixed-use sectors with a significant footprint in the North West and the Midlands. This deal is part of our long held strategy to strengthen the experiential services vital in today’s stakeholder focussed markets, through a combination of organic growth and the acquisition of high quality and reputationally strong businesses. Separately I wish to commend BDB Pitmans on their excellent client service – in addition to superb legal work, the team’s friendly attitude and responsive nature always makes the experience a positive one.’

Stephanie Perry concluded:

It has been a pleasure to work alongside NJC. We are confident that the shared values of the two organisations, including an on-going commitment to the customer journey through a high-quality service experience, will lead to a prosperous future for the business. We wish them every success going forwards.’
