Law firm BDB Pitmans has advised Whitton Day Nursery based in Whitton and Twickenham on its sale to Kindred Nurseries. The sale was completed on 1 May 2024.
Whitton Day Nursery was established over 20 years ago and has been family-run and owned since inception providing outstanding care, education and support to local children and parents. It has a holistic approach to childcare with an educational focus on heuristic play with natural materials and resources, constant access to the outdoor environment in all weathers and with children’s interests taking priority in the planning of activities and experiences.
Kindred is a leading family of day nurseries and pre-schools founded on over 25 years of experience in caring for babies and children. With a central mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for children and babies to grow and thrive in, the group continues to grow rapidly through the acquisition of single-site nurseries and small groups that have the same values. Kindred currently comprises over 40 nurseries across London, the Midlands, the East of England and the South of England.
The BDB Pitmans team was led by Corporate Partner Stephanie Perry and solicitor Katie Higgs. Partner Philip Alfandary provided corporate tax advice and Senior Associate Victoria Moss provided property advice. HMT Corporate Finance also advised Whitton Day Nursery.
