BDB Pitmans advises finnCap in a placing by K3 Capital Group plc to raise up to £30.5 million

The BDB Pitmans corporate team advised existing client, finnCap, in relation to a placing by K3 Capital Group plc to raise up to £30.5 million. The placing, completed on 20 July, was carried out by means of a vendor placing to institutional and other investors, a company placing to institutional and other investors, a direct subscription with the company and offers to retail and other investors via the PrimaryBid platform.

Part of the proceeds raised through the fundraising was used by K3 Capital Group plc to acquire the entire issued share capital of randd uk ltd, a UK-based private company specialising in securing research and development tax credits for clients.

K3 Capital Group plc is a business sales and brokerage headquartered in Bolton with operations throughout the UK. It advises and assists clients with the presentation of their businesses for sale to market, sourcing potential acquirers and project management of transactions through its three trading subsidiaries: KBS Corporate, KBS Corporate Finance and Knightsbridge.

The BDB Pitmans team was led by corporate partner Oliver Pilkington who was assisted by solicitor Daniela Munro.
