Rankings are based on comprehensive analysis into the strength of law firms. This year’s extensive research programme was based on feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, submissions from law firms and interviews with leading peers, and a team of researchers with unrivalled experience in the legal market.

In the 2020 edition, BDB Pitmans has been recommended in 30 practice areas and has maintained its Top Tier position in the following: infrastructure (parliamentary), insolvency and corporate recovery and TMT. The firm has also risen to ‘Tier 2’ in: local government, employment, corporate and commercial and real estate.
