Leading law firm, BDB Pitmans, has advised Vanderbilt Homes Ltd – the leading independent residential property developer – on its purchase of the share capital of Crayfern Homes Ltd. Crayfern Homes is a prominent Hampshire based housebuilder. The value of the deal is not disclosed.
Vanderbilt Homes, founded in Oxfordshire in 2004, has extensive experience building much needed high-quality family homes across the South East of England and Home Counties. This strategic acquisition of Crayfern Homes’ share capital drives forward the company’s ambitious growth plans.
The BDB Pitmans team advising on the transaction – including property due diligence on 10 sample sites and financing – was led by corporate and commercial partner Stephanie Perry and property partner Delphine Mehouas. Stephanie and Delphine worked closely alongside Michelle Gorman, Kathryn Johns, Amy Ryder and Carolyn Walker across the corporate and commercial and property departments in the firm’s Reading office. Crayfern Homes instructed Paris Smith LLP and Moore Blatch & Coffin Mew to advise on the corporate, property due diligence and finance aspects of the deal.
