Operating out of office locations in Surrey and Kent, Union Solutions Ltd employs around 30 staff and has an annual turnover of £10 million. It specialises in a range of IT infrastructure and managed service offerings, including infrastructure design, hosting, transition and migration, with a strong emphasis on high-performing data management and security for large businesses. Their clients include Mitsubishi Finance, Clyde & Co, and Kingfisher.

With £325 million in revenue, over 6,500 customers and more than 1,800 employees based in 24 offices and 43 data centres across seven European countries and Brazil, Claranet is an award-winning and leading managed IT service provider.

The BDB team acting on this transaction was led by corporate partner Philip Lamb and senior associate Tessa Trevelyan Thomas, assisted on the corporate side by solicitor Ben Lloyd. Real estate, employment and tax support was provided by real estate partner Ellen James and real estate associate Philip Rowe, senior employment associate Ian Wasserman and tax consultant Anthony Davis.

Philip Lamb comments:

‘Union Solutions Ltd is the latest UK acquisition we have acted on for Claranet and we are delighted to have assisted with their continued growth, both in the UK and internationally. This is another case of how our well-rounded knowledge and expertise as a firm enables us to provide a complete solution with a client-centred approach, and we look forward to continuing our support going forward.’
