Event round up: Business Breakfast with Sir James Bevan

On Thursday 20 September, BDB hosted its Business Breakfast and were delighted to welcome Sir James Bevan, Chief Executive of the Environment Agency, to discuss the environmental challenges facing the UK, the role the Environment Agency plays in dealing with those challenges, and how these challenges affect policy.

Key topics that were covered included:

• preparing for Brexit;
• implementing the 25 year Environmental Plan;
• climate change;
• balancing the environment vs sustainable growth; and
• the impact of politics and social developments on policy.
