Government’s response to infrastructure assessment branded ‘disappointing’
Infrastructure leaders have expressed disappointment at the Government’s interim response to the National Infrastructure Assessment (NIA) which was announced as part of the recent Budget. Angus Walker, partner in our planning and infrastructure team, notes that the response does not directly answer the National Infrastructure Commission’s recommendations, but only highlighted the related ongoing projects the Government is working on.
The Government has said that it will respond formally to the NIA in 2019.
