Stuart Thomson, head of public affairs, awarded CIPR Chartered Practitioner status
Stuart Thomson, Head of Public Affairs at BDB Pitmans, has been awarded Chartered Practitioner status by the CIPR, Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Currently one of only nearly 300 in the country, Stuart had to demonstrate his commitment to and understanding of ethics, strategy and leadership, as well as providing evidence of his dedication to life-long learning in public relations at the assessment day.
Commenting on becoming a Chart PR, Stuart said:
‘I am genuinely excited to have achieved Chartered Practitioner status. For me, it is the culmination of my over 20 years of working in public affairs, advising clients, and continuing to learn during that time as well. I also try to help the development of public affairs as well through my blog and books.
But for clients it provides a clear demonstration of the quality of advice that they receive from me and BDB Pitmans.’
