Alastair specialises in advising on complex issues of Trust and charity law. He advises individuals and trustees on UK and international Trust and estate planning where individuals, families and trustees are seeking to preserve assets and transmit wealth, whether newly created or inherited, from one generation to another.
He also advises on UK immigration and nationality matters and assists investors seeking to come to the UK. He acts for a variety of charities and royal charter corporations, including livery companies, dealing with constitutional and governance issues and advising on the establishment of new entities.
He is on the Court of the City of London Solicitors Company and was Master in 2004/5.
