Andrew is BDB Pitmans’ managing partner, having previously been head of the firm’s real estate group. He deals with a wide range of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, investment, regeneration and development. He specialises in the real estate aspects of major infrastructure schemes, in particular those authorised under the Transport and Works Act Order (TWAO) and those by Development Consent Order (DCO) under the Planning Act 2008.
Andrew is chair of the Victoria Westminster Partnership which is in the process of creating a new business improvement district for the Victoria Westminster Area. He has previously served as non-executive director for a property investment company.
Career highlights
- Advising National Grid on the Hinkley Point C Connection 60km power line DCO. Lead the team involved in acquisition of rights from approximately 300 land owners
- Advising on the Nemo Link cross channel interconnector project and acquisition of rights to lay new cable
- Advising TfL on the Victoria Station Upgrade and Emirates Air Line
