Beth is a solicitor in the planning, infrastructure, and public law department (PIP). Her work involves advising on planning, environmental, and land acquisition matters relating to the promotion and objection of nationally significant infrastructure projects, primarily in the energy and transport infrastructure sectors, under the Transport and Works Act 1992 and the Planning Act 2008.
Since qualifying in September 2024, Beth has primarily worked on development consent orders for renewable energy schemes and has advised both promoters and interested parties.
Beth trained at BDB Pitmans and completed a seat in PIP in her third rotation, during which she gained additional experience with the planning and property aspects of major infrastructure projects and was heavily involved with the Lower Thames Crossing project and drafting S106 agreements with local thorities. Beth complimented this experience with a final seat in real estate and gained experience in drafting voluntary land agreements.
