Claire is a junior case manager in the new build team, which offers end-to-end specialist advice on land acquisition, tax, infrastructure and planning, construction, and dispute resolution.
The team works closely with the firm’s house builder clients in order to prepare legal documentation for new developments and to ensure a smooth transition from site acquisition through setup, plot sales, and handover. They specialise in all aspects of development setup, including advice on freehold, leasehold, and mixed-use sites; management companies; infrastructure agreements; shared ownership; and ground rent investor sales. They also offer knowledge and experience of market trends, including the challenges facing residential developers. By offering practical advice from the outset, they aim to reduce the risk of delays occurring further down the line, helping to ensure that exchange and completion deadlines are achieved and sales projections met.
