Services

Elizabeth specialises in tax, probate, trusts and will and estate planning for UK families and non UK domiciliaries. She has particular interests in complex probates, especially those with an international dimension and has advised on estates with assets in a wide variety of countries including France, Spain, Croatia, Switzerland, Turkey and Australia. She advises on inheritance tax reliefs and exemptions including agricultural and business property relief, conditional exemption claims and offers in lieu of tax.

As part of her work on estate administration, Elizabeth advises on structuring trusts for the long term management of death in service benefits and the related inheritance tax issues. She has also advised on the creation of and payment of benefits from excepted group life assurance trusts.

She advises trustees and beneficiaries of a wide variety of UK trusts, including several landed estates, on trust and tax issues and acts as a trustee where appropriate. She also regularly acts as an executor of her clients’ wills.

Elizabeth’s clients include those with inherited wealth, city professionals, artists and lottery winners.

Elizabeth also advises individuals and charities in connection with disputed wills and applications for statutory wills.
