Emma is a trainee solicitor at BDB Pitmans. Over her two-year training contract, she will spend six months in four different seats across our broad range of practice areas.
Prior to joining BDB Pitmans, Emma worked as an immigration consultant, advising clients on a range of UK immigration applications. She also has a degree in law with German from the University of Exeter.
After a comprehensive induction programme, our trainees receive extensive legal and interpersonal skills training to ensure their expertise and career skills are constantly developing. Trainees undergo specific technical training in each seat in addition to the mandatory Professional Skills Course (PSC). Great emphasis is also placed on interpersonal skills such as networking and client management to provide them with the breadth of skills required to be an excellent solicitor.
