Farah Desai

Farah qualified as a Solicitor in the Planning, Infrastructure and Public Law (PIP) Department in September 2023 and has a particular interest in Environmental Law.

Farah trained at BDB Pitmans and has been sent on two client secondments since joining the firm in November 2017. In April 2019, Farah worked for the Ministry of Defence as a Paralegal to the Iraq Fatality Investigations Team for over two years before returning to the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2021. In March 2023, Farah was sent on a secondment to the Legal Team of the Tony Blair Institute for the final seat of her Training Contract, where she worked on commercial matters.

Farah plays an active role in the firm’s first D&I Strategy Group. She is the D&I Strategy Group’s Sponsor of Faith in Focus as well as a proud member of the SHINE Committee and the Mind & Body Committee.
