Jacqueline is a legal advisor in the restructuring and insolvency team. She deals with and issues Statutory Demands in addition to issuing and defending disputes on debts, which extend into property and contract law. Her role requires her to work collaboratively with lawyers in different legal departments.
Jacqueline previously worked within the defendant insurance team, dealing with road traffic collisions, Employer’s Liability and Public Liability matters, personal injury cases and associated losses, property damage, credit hire and credit repairs.
- Advising a client on the recovery of multiple discretionary bonuses under clawback provisions; securing substantial payments by way of Settlement Agreements
- Advising in complex matters relating to two individuals who were subject to Individual Voluntary Agreements (IVAs); advising regarding the complexities involved in dealing with their estates following their deaths
- Advising in relation to a Health and Safety Prosecution against a care home following the death of a resident. Entering Basis of Plea and Mitigation Documents, avoiding the client a jail sentence and reducing the potential fine from in excess of £250,000 to £60,000
- Identifying, advising and Defending cases on potential fraudulent matters following road traffic accidents.
