Jocelyn is a commercial litigator with experience in acting for a variety of clients including corporate businesses as well as high profile and high net worth individuals on a wide range of contentious matters.
She advises on all aspects of commercial litigation with a particular focus on complex commercial disputes, matters involving misrepresentation, claims for civil fraud and breaches of contract, fiduciary and directors’ duties and reputation management.
Career Highlights
- Acting for the Former Joint Administrators of a Formula One Team in a multi-million pound claim for negligence, negligent misrepresentation and breach of confidence.
- Advising on numerous substantial and complex interim applications in a multi-party trust dispute involving breaches of fiduciary duty. This included dealing with unique challenges to serve outside of the Court’s jurisdiction and the disclosability of privileged documents under CPR 31.17.
- Advising a member of a prominent Middle Eastern family on the settlement of a contractual dispute.
- Advising a purchaser on title and attribution issues following the acquisition of a classic car at auction.
- Representing and advising high profile phone hacking victims in claims against News Group and Mirror Group newspapers.
- Acting on behalf of a prominent Russian businessman requesting the take down of articles on Google, which had been published in breach of a UK Court order.
