Kristel started her career in local government, working in a shared service. As a result she has experience of a wide variety of commercial property transactional work as well as advising on regeneration schemes.
She has been working on property aspects of major infrastructure projects at BDB Pitmans since 2019 including the implementation of Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs) by compulsory purchase and agreement.
She has also advised on the property aspects on the promotion of DCO applications.
Career Highlights
- Advising on the property aspects on the promotion of a DCO for a major junction improvement for National Highways;
- Advising on the implementation by compulsory purchase and agreement on a transmission line connection project; and
- Advising on the land acquisition of a viaduct and station for the extension of a railway on a complex site pursuant to a TWAO.
