Lydia is an associate in the planning, infrastructure and public law department (PIP). She advises on a range of planning, environmental and land acquisition matters relating to the promotion of major infrastructure (including renewable energy and transport) and development projects to secure Development Consent Orders, Transport and Works Act Orders, and planning permission. She also advises on clean air zones, drafting legislation, advising public bodies on their powers, and public procurement matters.
Lydia trained at BDB Pitmans; her training contract included a six month planning seat and also a client secondment within ExxonMobil’s in-house legal team. She was previously a paralegal in the PIP department at BDB Pitmans, when she primarily worked on the land acquisition and property aspects of nationally significant infrastructure projects in the energy, highways and airport sectors.
