Marisia has experience in advising on a variety of planning and infrastructure consenting regimes including the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and Planning Act 2008. She has worked in both the public and private sector having started her career in local government.
Her experience includes advising clients in respect of estate regeneration schemes and mixed use schemes involving compulsory purchase, drafting and negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements, planning enforcement, appeals, judicial review and statutory appeals, as well as acting as a legal advisor at various planning committees.
Marisia is currently part of the core teams advising National Highways on two DCO applications for highways schemes across the UK, as well as Exxon Mobil’s proposals to construct a new pipeline, Lower Thames Crossing and Luton Airport expansion proposals.
