Mominah Shafi

Mominah is a case manager in the new build team which offers end-to-end specialist advice on land acquisition, tax, infrastructure and planning, construction and dispute resolution.

The team works closely with the firm’s house builder clients in order to prepare legal documentation for new developments and to ensure a smooth transition from site acquisition, through set up, plot sales and handover. They specialise in all aspects of development set up including advice on freehold, leasehold and mixed use sites; management companies, infrastructure agreements, shared ownership and ground rent investor sales. They also offer knowledge and experience of market trends including the challenges facing residential developers. By offering practical advice from the outset, they aim to reduce the risk of delays occurring further down the line, helping to ensure that exchange and completion deadlines are achieved and sales projections met.
