Nick is a property lawyer with extensive experience in commercial property transactions (including landlord and tenant, acquisitions and disposals) together with residential development work.

In his practice he regularly acts for landowners, developers, landlords and tenants, and therefore has the necessary insight into each side of a transaction and the issues involved.

Nick has also advised various public sector clients in the education, health and local government sectors on the property aspects of major public / private finance projects.

He helps clients to achieve their immediate commercial aims, whilst also taking account of their long-term objectives.

Nick’s clients appreciate his straightforward and approachable manner and his ability to put forward commercial solutions.

Career Highlights

  • Acting for a major residential developer on various options, conditional contracts and site acquisitions in the south east of England
  • Advising a medical charity on its acquisition and disposal of investment assets nationwide and the relocation of its headquarters and research facilities in London
  • Representing a Further Education College in its acquisition of a site for the joint development and testing of prototype electric vehicles with a major vehicle manufacturer in the north east of England
  • Lead solicitor for an NHS Trust on its various transactions across its estate including site acquisitions for new facilities and joint arrangements with private healthcare providers
