Sarah is an associate within BDB Pitmans’ private wealth team and specialises in tax, probate, creation of trusts and estate planning for UK families and domiciliaries. She has particular experience of working with families with business and agricultural assets, maximising the reliefs that apply for inheritance tax purposes.
Sarah enjoys meeting clients, working with them to understand their objectives in securing their estates for the longer term to meet the needs of successive generations. To this end she advises on the preparation of wills (including will trusts), letters of wishes and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Sarah works closely with the department’s professional support lawyer in producing a suite of documents used by the wider team when preparing wills.
