Simon Burson

Simon specialises in commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on institutional clients and occupiers. He has extensive business leadership experience, setting up and subsequently heading up BDB’s Cambridge office. He manages teams of lawyers with the capability to conduct work more cost effectively and to deliver robust resourcing when major transactions demand. Simon also leads the asset management team which deals with a range of matters for clients who have in excess of 200 units under management in offices, retail and industrial.

Simon’s team in Cambridge has been instructed on over £100 million of investment transactions in the last year across seven significant deals in respect of properties located both nationally and regionally.

Simon also acts for both lenders and occupiers on real estate finance transactions with many years of experience advising on the real estate aspects of both bilateral and syndicated loans for single properties and portfolios.
