Big Mac ruling shows brands can’t coast on reputation
Following a European court’s high-profile decision to trim McDonald’s trade mark protections, partner Dennis Lee warns that large-scale consumer brands should not be complacent that having a globally recognised brand should serve as sufficient reasoning to enforce their intellectual property.
