Consultant’s bid to overturn divorce laws ‘doomed to failure’

An IT consultant’s legal action at the High Court to overturn England’s ‘easy’ divorce laws is ‘almost certainly doomed to failure’. Although many family lawyers are concerned by divorce laws being described as ‘easy’, it is hard to see why the High Court would overturn legislation that has been around for over 50 years and scrutinised in the past.
