Employee claims continue to increase

Employment tribunal claims are on the rise, with receipts, disposals and caseload for single claims increasing by 6%, 22% and 39%, respectively, on last year. Since the introduction of the employment tribunal fee refund scheme in November 2017, the Government has paid out £17.3 million, with 21,700 out of 22,000 applications accepted so far.
