How to embrace the benefits of solar energy in drive to net zero
In an article for New Civil Engineer, Richard Marsh, partner in our environmental infrastructure projects team, covers suggested changes to planning policy which could potentially make it more difficult for developers to secure planning permission for solar farms planned on Grade 3b land.
Following Liz Truss’ resignation as prime minister, we continue to be in a state of political flux and instability. That is not an ideal place to be at a time when we need to encourage enormous domestic and foreign investment in renewable energy infrastructure in order to meet our net zero targets.
