Insolvency landscape changed by legislation

The Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (CIGA) came into force on 26 June 2020 and introduces significant changes to the insolvency landscape, some of which are temporary in effect (for example the COVID-19 related restrictions on presenting petitions based on statutory demands), whilst others are permanent.
