The viability of biodiversity credits
With the statutory biodiversity credit scheme set to go live this November, partner Angus Walker outlines the benefits of the initiative for developers in an article for IFLR.
‘The market of BNG land is still in its infancy, so developers with large reserves of relatively monocultural land are well-placed to rapidly improve its biodiversity score, and sell this to developers without readily upgradable land.’
