Webinar round-up: Mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain comes into force – what this means

Biodiversity net gain, or BNG, is finally came into force for larger planning applications on 12 February 2024 and smaller ones will be on 2 April 2024.  This means that improving biodiversity by at least 10% compared with what is to be lost through development is now the law from those dates.
