Alice specialises in charity law and advises an eclectic mix of individuals and organisations operating in the social enterprise and charity space, including international philanthropists, schools, public bodies, humanitarian organisations, membership organisations, ancient Royal Charter charities and corporate foundations.
Alice’s work includes structuring and establishing charities, as well as supporting organisations on a range of legal, governance, strategic and compliance issues throughout their lifespan, including advising on constitutional, commercial, fundraising and grant making matters.
As the education team’s co-lead, Alice advises independent schools on a range of commercial and constitutional issues, and also advises sector bodies on their support and regulation of the sector.
Alice particularly enjoys working closely with boards and regularly provides Trustee Training.
She is also a governor of an independent school in York.
