Charlotte Nugent

Charlotte is a second year trainee, currently in her third seat in the employment team. She assists on a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters, including defending claims in the Employment Tribunal, instructing counsel, assisting with settlement and COT3 agreements as well transfers under TUPE and contract and policy review.

Charlotte’s second seat was in the pensions team, in which she assisted in a variety of scheme matters including the consolidation and amendment of trust deeds and scheme buy-outs. She also assisted in providing updates on the latest developments in pensions law.

Charlotte’s first seat was in the litigation team where she was involved in property litigation and product liability. She assisted and attended multiple mediations and court hearings. In particular, with the guidance and support from members of the team, she was given the responsibility to guide and advise a client on a construction matter which subsequently resulted in mediation.
