Sinéad leads the commercial litigation team. She is an experienced litigator used to dealing with complex, high-profile and high value commercial disputes. Her cases include multi-million pound swap mis-selling claims, acting in an early leading case on the statutory derivative claim under the Companies Act 2006 and dealing with a multi-million pound dispute between shareholders in a complex off-shore structure as well as numerous, vanilla contractual disputes and professional negligence claims. Whilst Sinéad deals with any dispute in the commercial arena, she has a particular interest in shareholder disputes.
A niche area that Sinéad also specialises in is inquests work. In this regard, she has acted in the Hillsborough Inquests, the inquest into the death of Jacintha Saldanha and was deputy solicitor to the Tunisia Inquests.
