Brexit Webinar Series: Data protection and IP post-Brexit
Throughout April – June 2021, BDB Pitmans are hosting a series of webinars on ‘Brexit: The new law – what you need to know’, which will guide attendees through the new legal landscape after Brexit and draw attention to the main considerations they should be aware of.
The fourth event in the series is on ‘Data protection and IP post-Brexit’.
Data Protection has been heavily influenced by EU law, from the GDPR to laws on electronic communications. Intellectual property rights, particularly the unitary systems of EU trade marks and design registrations, are also closely linked to the UK’s membership of the EU. Now that the Brexit transition period has ended, Oliver Willis (Data Protection) and Dennis Lee (IP) explain what has changed, what has stayed the same, and what further changes are on the horizon.

Please note: this webinar will be held using Zoom and a link will be sent to you in your registration confirmation email and will also be resent on the morning of the webinar.
We hope you can join us.
