Gender Pay: the secretive surge

As Gender Pay Reporting remains a hot topic, there has been a surge in reports from employers over the last couple of weeks.

One reason for this could be that by leaving the publishing until closer to the deadline, companies whose results are perhaps unfavourable may be less likely to be identified as their results get swept up amongst the numerous other reports being published at the same time.

The website for reporting is here and you can download the information in excel format. Helpfully the names of the contacts for each company are also provided.

With only 11 weeks to go and only 595 of the potential 9000 affected employers having published their results, we wait with anticipation for the overall picture on the Gender Pay Gap. It will be interesting to see if all 9000 employers manage to publish their reports on time.
