UK PM set to bring in cut to stamp duty, private wealth sector reacts
UK Prime Minister Liz Truss is set to bring in plans to cut stamp duty ahead of Friday’s ‘mini budget.’ Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) is a ‘bad tax’ according to Jeremy Raj, national head of residential property at law firm Irwin Mitchell.
