GDPR: Where are we now?
In conjunction with the Institute of Fundraising (IoF), we would like to welcome you to a panel discussion concerning the practical impact of GDPR on the third sector almost a year on.
Whilst the fears of many charities, sector bodies and parts of the media have not come to pass, there are still a number of questions that charities and fundraisers want answering. With that in mind, The IoF have released an update of their GDPR Essentials guidance to help charities answer these important questions. Join us for an introduction to this guidance and a panel discussion of case studies from the last year, including:
- beneficiary involvement in fundraising;
- personal data in grant applications; and
- data sharing for fundraising.
With Brexit continuing to dominate national debate we will also look at the impact on data protection, and how charities can prepare.
The event will end with an extended Q&A session and will be followed by the opportunity to network over some drinks and canapés.
